“Times Awards 2022”, l’Italia è il miglior Paese del mondo per viaggiare

L’Italia è il miglior Paese al mondo in cui viaggiare, parola del Times. Per il sesto anno consecutivo, infatti, quest’ultimo ha attribuito al “Bel Paese” il “Times Awards” come migliore destinazione per le vacanze estive.

Il successo, “Best Destination Country” e “Best Hotel” (con l’Hotel Feltrinelli sul Garda), è giunto grazie al voto di 500 mila lettori del Times, viaggiatori esigenti e dal buon portafoglio. Procida figura tra le migliori location emergenti dell’anno.

Il premio viene attribuito considerando la città preferita, il Paese preferito, il miglior tour operator, le migliori sistemazioni alberghiere, i migliori trasporti. I lettori quest’anno hanno premiato il Belpaese, seguito da Regno Unito e Grecia.

• Best luxury tour operator: Kuoni, runners up: Audley Travel and Abercrombie & Kent
• Best escorted tour operator: Riviera Travel, runners up: Great Rail Journeys and Exodus Travels
• Best ski operator: Crystal, runners up: Inghams and Mark Warner
• Best tour operator: Trailfinders, runners up: Tui and Virgin Holidays
• Best emerging destination: Costa Rica, runners up: Slovenia and Procida
• The eco award: Scotland, runners up: Visit Copenhagen and Responsible Travel
• Editor’s choice: Jet2
